It was very well written with a lot of fantastic scenes & I felt a lot of excitement about what the author was revealing about the characters. I can't wait to see what happens next.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It may be the Generation X in me, but the snarky Sidekick is one of my favorite literary tropes. and I have to say that Cooper is one of the best!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Who's That Witch?" starts with a bang and chaos, and it never seems to stop! There's no murder, but nothing about this amazingly complex mystery is as it appears.

Newbie witch? Yup.

Quaint town? Yup, and magical, too. The magic is hidden from humans so we can all live in harmony. For the most part.
A bookstore coffee shop combo where most of town gathers? Of course, and it's owned by my mother's best friend, who's given me a permanent table where I write daily.

Quirky characters? Definitely. Witches, shapeshifters, gossipers, cantankerous old coots, you name it, Holiday Hills has it.

A sexy police chief who takes my breath away? Don't I know it.

A talking cat? That's Cooper, my cat. He's also my familiar, though if he had to choose between saving me or a free can of tuna, I'm pretty sure he'd choose the tuna.

Oh, and murder. (Most of the time.) But thankfully, this newbie witch has an amateur sleuth side gig because a murderer is gunning for her.
This might seem unbelievable, but I just learned I'm a witch, and that's pretty hard to top.

Love the characters

Fun characters and stories. Love the cozy mysteries of Holiday Hills.
The familiars are also hilarious!
Each book is a nice stand alone story, but together you get drawn into Holiday Hills and all the colorful characters!
Wish it was easier to tell which order they Sous be in.

the cat is the best part of this story.

this should have been read by a real person it's very hard to follow. there's no feeling in it.

great story, but need to get real voice

This gets a mixed review. The author writes fun, light stories in a genre I enjoy -- cozy witch/paranormal mysteries. However, its done with virtual voice that means words are mispronounced (and not even consistently within the same title -- the name "Dylan" gets pronounced like both Dye-lyn and dill-on, etc. Intonation is entirely dry without appropriate inflexion. At times, you have to think about the meaning because stuff like sarcasm and humor require tonation to really make the meaning clear. ETC.

So, I enjoyed it enough to listen to the rest of the series, but only for "free" (with my membership), due to the virtual voice and because I am desperate for books to listen to while working.

the story was good but the virtual voice had very little emotion. it was hard sometimes to determine who was speaking they blended together

AI at its Worst

There’s So many errors and glitches. It’s criminal that you charged money for the Very Poor Quality recording of these books. I won’t be purchasing another one.
