Whether the author was Fabricius himself, or it was written by an unknown author at a later date, the story sticks closely to the biblical narrative while providing additional insights into the internal conflicts of Pontius Pilate over his role in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ that led to his eventual suicide

Ohh the tragedy of Pontius Pilate..😪

This is another fine story telling by Christopher Glynn. This confession of Pontius felt like listening to an Oscar award winning movie. The many details of the integration of Jesus truly is mesmerizing. "If one was to paint a picture it would be as if Jesus was governor and Pilate the criminal..." POWERFUL. What I admire most about this story is how honest and true these men spoke about Jesus and all the events surrounding the crucifixion and Resurrection. I can imagine all the shame and guilt Pilate bore... if only he would've confessed and repented to Jesus.

...a wonderful listen. Christopher Glyn is the perfect dramatic reader for ancient Jewish and Christian texts.

notable in this text is the praise given to Jesus for avoiding Roman politics.

surely a lesson for Christians today who spend more time on politics than on the Gospel.
