Powerful story

I love the characters and plot. The graphic audio is outstanding. Enjoyed this tremendously. The characters are fierce.

FMC Poppy, a maiden turned into a being not sure of (a god, well a Primal goddess, but we find that out in a later book) a descendant of the king of the Gods: Nyktos and his consort.....who is Serafina who is the Primal of Life)
MMC Casteel, a Atlantian and a Prince, also known as the Dark One to the people of Carsodonia where the Ascendents live

Ascendents are vampires, the bad people in this book series
they needed the maiden to make more vampires and to make her turn into a Primal by asending her with an Atlantian's blood
Atlantian's blood can make vampires and make Poppy into a Primal goddess

the Ascendents will stop at nothing to get Poppy back

the Queen of the Ascendents wants Poppy at her full potential so she can use her however she sees fit
Poppy is the reincarnated soul of Sortoria, Kolis's long lost love from the prequel series Flesh and Fire
and the Queen needs Poppy to bring back Kolis so he can destroy the world and all the old gods who slumber, who have been sleeping for over 1000 years

but we find all that out in a later book

I love the dramatized version of this audio, it's make this audiobook seem like a movie, it's awesome

I love Jennifer Armentrout, she is an amazing writer, these books both of her series Flesh and Fire, which is her prequel to Blood and Ash are what got me back into reading and what got me into dark romance books.....omg I love dark romance

someone good

this one is way Spicier than the others. it is really good though. each book gets better and better. i like Poppy and Cass' relationship so much and it's so sweet in this book. the narrators are top notch of course. I came for Stewart Crank but have stayed for everyone. I can't wait for part 2. I wasn't sure where this one was going to go. lots of twists and turns. im usually pretty good at guessing, but not so much in this one. I do have one theory though, about the cats. can't wait to see if im right about that one.
