Slightly Ridiculous and Seriously Entertaining

This book definitely takes inspiration from other LitRPGs like dungeon crawler Carl, but the author has his own ideas and a clear direction. Nothing is truly ripped off and instead has its own flavor or twist thrown onto it. Take a chance on this book! You won’t regret it.

I enjoyed this from start to finish, laughed out loud more times than in many other books in the last couple years. I can't wait for the second book!

Dungeon Crawlers meet BackRoom Delvers, your new best friends

Awesome book, highly recommend. What do you get when you combine 1 standard tool belt, a dog(that's not a dog), a splash of childhood nostalgia, and murderous violence? I give you Discount Dan.

If you loved Dungeon Crawler Carl you will really enjoy Discount Dan. Same type dark humor. Similar badass sentient pet that keeps me laughing. Different enough to stand apart. Give it a chance and you won't regret it.

Solid story and EPIC naration

Story keeps moving, not bogged down too much with stats, equipment and such. The story is definitely a gamers fun fair. Engaging characters, and again EPIC narration.

DCC fans REJOICE

This book is the perfect blend of dark humor. I audibly snorted too many times while listening to this and the world building is leaving me in suspense. The worst thing about it is that it’s only 1 book long SO FAR! Ahh I can’t wait for the next book.
