When Sienna spends a night drinking her troubles away by a pool at a lakeside estate, the following morning, she remembers none of the things that took place. Her hungover mind tries to piece together the events of the previous night but, even when the insanely handsome Mason Sweete enters the room, her thoughts are still muddy. Sienna isn’t sure Mason can be trusted but she finds herself intrigued by him, even though a former lover plays heavy on her heart and mind.
Acclimating herself to the peaceful surroundings of the Hill Country in Austin, Texas, Sienna’s soul begins to heal. She and Mason grow closer, and he offers her the job of her dreams, but he’s omitting truths that could tear them apart. When an event changes things and Sienna’s former boyfriend returns, their lives are turned upside down and Sienna finds herself torn between love and trust.
A man of privilege and wealth, Mason is instantly attracted to Sienna but he has strict personal rules about who he allows into his life, and into the Sweete family. Despite his own recent heartache, he finds himself seeking Sienna’s company more and more, and looking for reasons to keep her around.
When malicious forces intercede, Sienna and Mason find themselves caught up in events that could keep them apart for all eternity. They must do what they can to hold on to one another.
