I am not surprised, pure perfection! Gaz and Kayden are absolute toxic perfection. Their story had me in a complete chokehold. Just finished and already want to listen again. The full cast narration made this even better. Seeing the different side of Gaz than what we saw in previous books was great. How unhinged he could be. The narrators were perfect for this as well, they did an amazing job with the depth of emotion, rage, and overall depth of the guys. if I could rate this more than 5 stars I would. One of the best audiobooks out there (God of Fury will always be #1 lol)

Gareth and Kayden

What a wild ride and a perfectly Rina Kent way! My gosh! IMMEDIATELY the spice was spicyyyy. These two had me hooked! Both the best blends of madness in their own ways! I also went in completely blind and must have been hiding under a rock because I didn't realize this was about Gareth, KILLIAN's brother. And one of my all-time favorite Rina Kent characters. I loved this book! And the incredible push-and-pull relationship these two had.

The first chapter gave us a HUGE glimpse into how this relationship between these two was going to go and just how UNHINGED both of them were. Although we didn't find some things about Kayden until later in the book, I was so sold on his character and the way he read Gareth so freaken well. That had to have been the best part of this book! Kayden, the Gareth whisperer. And I was so here for it.

"Someone like Gareth needs a more emotionally mature and strict person by his side to keep him in check; otherwise, he’d eventually spiral."

YES, he did!! 👏👏👏


The way Gareth could morph in his everyday life did impress me, and then you get his internal dialogue, and it was so unbelievably unhinged! I absolutely love the contrast! So many of his thoughts and threats had me laughing just by how unhinged they were! I couldn't get enough.

Rina did such an incredible job as always, balancing these two characters. Ahh! I loved it!

We also got to see quite a bit of Niko and Killian, which I am ALWAYS here for! 👏👏

I can't wait for the rest of this series. If it's anything like the last, I know I'm going to love it! I do hope Rina continues to interconnect the two series just like she did this one! 👏

YESSSSS!!!! The second this audiobook started, I knew Rina had picked the BEST two narrators for Kayden and Gareth! It opens with Grayson Owens, who is an all time favorite of mine, gave us the BEST inner dialogue from Gareth as he plots revenge. I was so stoked when I saw that he was in this list of cast members. And he NAILED each side of Gareth, from his unhinged thoughts and behaviors to the BEAUTIFUL way he submitted to Kayden! Stephen played Kayden. And WOW!! I will never forget Stephen's opening line in this book. It's forever BURNED into my brain. I got CHILLS when I heard it. There. Could. Not. Have. Been. A. Better. Kayden!!!! I've heard Stephen in many different performances, but I have to say this was hands down my favorite. He brought out the dominant side of Kayden STRONGLY! Perfectly. It was incredible! I loved the way these two sounded together so much! Rina also brought back Teddy Hamilton as Niko, which, ahh. We needed!! 👏👏 This whole cast was fantastic! Honestly, one of the best freaken groups of narrators! 👏

Excellent Narration

I have been waiting for Garreths story since God of Fury and this didnt disappoint! I enjoyed the spice, the dark themes, new addition of characters and the plot! Narration was amazing per usual
with this authors audios and loved to have the past characters make cameos! Cant wait for the next !

Professor Kayden Lockwood crossed paths with Gareth and it sets things in motion that will alter everything. There is no going back now. So the battle begins.

This story had me gasping out loud. I promise you will never seen the twist coming. I will say this doesn’t feel like a new series to me. It fits right in with LOG and I would recommend reading that first for the best experience. I enjoyed seeing so many characters, especially Niko. The humor, the violence. It’s a winning combination. Oh and the spice-mostly top tier. I just had to get used to some expressions I wasn’t expecting. What I loved. How finding that one person can turn you inside out. Change everything you thought you knew about yourself. Make you do things you never have before. Where it consumes you. Like an addiction.

A standing ovation for Stephen Dexter, Grayson Owens, Teddy Hamilton, Shane East, Corvin King, Samantha Brentmoor, and Vivienne Larue. What a tremendous experience listening to them master their craft and enhance this story. I truly don’t believe it would be the same without them.

Dark turned emotional

This book starts out very dark but while it stays dark it is an emotional and beautiful story
