I have a feeling this is going to turn into an academy story.
Cliffhanger aside, this was quite good. There were editing. This story seems to be a fantasy version of The Count of Monte Cristo. Inspired by.
I recommend it.

I avoid listening to books about druids. Most authors make them extremely weak or limit what they are allowed to do. This is the first book in a while that breaks that mold. The powers of the druid make sense and are useful!

The characters are interesting and lead to a really good story. About to start book 2!

I liked this book, it was dark and gritty. I feel like the momentum is lost towards the end of the book. But maybe it gets better in the second book.
