Mary Jane Wells is excellent.

The plot was clever and Mary Jane Wells is an excellent narrator. Her character voiced reading is unparalleled.

Suffice it to say that I found Louisa Darling searching audiobooks narrated by Mary Jane Wells.
I enjoyed the previous book in the series and this one even more.

A Lovely Favorite

I am an avid listener but don’t always leave reviews. I feel compelled to leave a review so others will take a chance on this story. You won’t regret it. I spend a good deal of time traveling to appointments or in the hospital with a kiddo. I rely on stories to give me a nice bit of comfort while taking me on a journey. I loved this journey. No big plot twist or anything but I will say the end was a wonderful change in pace in comparison to so many other historical romances. I’m assuming the next book follows Lucy and I can’t wait, This author will be a one click buy for me.

A sweet and fun historical romance involving a cook and a Duke. Each of them grows and learns about life, about themselves, and about each other. 🌶🌶 spice. Good narration.

Wow! This is definitely added to my favorites this! Great, witty writing! Perfect level of steamy 🔥 where you get butterflies and actually believe in the chemistry! Sooooo worth the credit. And of course MJW never fails to bring it to life! I lovedddd her take on the internal monologue as they were fighting their attraction! It made me laugh out loud!!
