lacking sophistication

the male narration was eyeroll worthy as another review said. story felt like a lot of inner monologue and little real dialogue and action. world building was nonexistent, i didn’t know why i was supposed to care about these characters idk. dnf

narration is decent. male lead is a dumb jock sadist

the main male lead truly shows his inability to make sense of anything towards the end of the book. incredibly annoying. he is just a sadistic stalker douche most of the story besides like maybe 20 minutes total of the story. spice is decent, world is fun, liked the other characters. female lead let the male lead off with waaaaayyyyy too much.

The story is interesting and unique. The characters and spicy scenes are well written. The emotions of the characters really shine through, especially with the beautiful duet narration.

It's forbidden fated mates, stalker romance with graphic scenes so checking the trigger warnings is advised, but overall this is a great start!

I’m crying.

I loved it! I’m pretty good at predicting outcomes but they still get me every time. Ugh that ending tore my heart out.

There is such thing as overly descriptive!

The male narrator was so sadistic sounding and dramatic. I don’t think he needed to do all that, and it was just for the main character. All the other male characters he did sounded fine. Also, the story was so lackluster. They tend to be overly descriptive of every single thing oh my gosh, there was a part where she was in her own mind for 45 minutes I swear ,and it was so descriptive like oh my gosh, girl Moving along here. And I also can’t stand a weak and whiny female main character she had such a complex. also trigger warning there’s a lot of assault going on here and the BDSM or sub and Dom whatever he was literally just whooping her butt. I don’t think it was kinky I think it was too much.
