But she soon learns the victim’s father is one of the most powerful men in Unicoi County. And he is intent on seeing his son’s killer suffer.

As Jack and Charlie dig into the two cases, they begin to uncover strange connections between them. With pressure mounting, Jack becomes the target of a deeply unhinged enemy who will try to take everything from him, including his sanity, to stop him from discovering the truth.

And even the mighty Joe Dillard is powerless to help.

to an outstanding series. What a tribute to Scott for his son to finish the book, and in such a fitting way! I LOVED this series! I hope JD continues on with Jacks story!

Nice to see Jack Dillard come into his own. Interesting story, and a very satisfying resolution.

Suspenseful! Even the bizarre parts come together in an intense finale! A "hard to put down" Audible thriller!
