A successful and optimistic Autistic Multimillionaire chronicles his journey with Autism and reflects on how the disorder has helped and hindered him as he went from high school dropout to successful husband, father, executive, and entrepreneur.

He explains what he knows now that he wishes he’d known when younger in order to make living with Autism more rewarding and less challenging. He explores what makes those like him—the “Sheldon Coopers” of the World—tick, and he analyzes and explains numerous powerful behaviors of those on the Spectrum that can relentlessly drive success in people ranging from Einstein to Elon Musk and Steve Jobs. What can everyone learn from their examples?

This book is David’s attempt to make the lives of others on the Autism Spectrum (and those close to them) easier and more successful by documenting the strategies, techniques, and tools that he developed throughout his life to both manage and leverage the attributes and behaviors related to his Autism Spectrum Disorder. Chapter topics include Symptoms, Emotions, Empathy, Hyperfocus, Special Interests, Employment, Parenting, Relationships and Marriage, Mindblindness, Bullying, Meltdowns, Masking and more, all told from the personal perspective of someone who has been there.

This audiobook is expressively read by Phil Thron with audio engineering by Blake Rook. It was produced and published by Echo Point Books & Media, an independent bookseller in Brattleboro, Vermont.

It's a great viewpoint of how not having a diagnosis can be a blessing and a curse. Not knowing ment he couldn't ever use it as a excuse for why things were the wat it was. But how things and relationships could be aided or benefited from having tools to cope with seeing things differently. The book covers almost a lifetime without knowing so there is alot of hindsight and callouts that the subject will be talked about later. He does talk about all of later but it did seem like for a while its kinda like those old shows that would tell you well have the main topic right after this, commercial break from our sponsors. I do think this book was helpful and I will be listening to it again.

As an autistic software engineer myself, this book is inspiring. I was also diagnosed late in life. I also started coding when I was young and loved it. I am now retired and teach future software engineers.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who thinks they are an alien.

I just finished this audiobook, and I am really impressed. Most of my employment was spent in IT where i met many people that fit into the spectrum or were close to the spectrum Whether you're on the spectrum, or what i would call "near" the spectrum, this book does a great job of helping the neural typical understand the issues of those on the spectrum and vise versa.

great book, most informative Highly recommended
