Great 2nd book, looking forward to seeing where things go now that the revenge arc is done.

Only mild complaint is the lack of explanation around how gaining power works in this world. There's gods blessings, and mages and lots of enchanting... but no coherent explanation about power types and scaling in thr world yet.

A tale of murder, blackmail, extortion from a charming rogue. Even in light of his many crimes, it is far too easy to forget that our main character is not the good guy. Thankfully the author so frequently and tactfully reminds us! Great work and I can’t wait for the next incredible read.
