An entertaining read

I liked pretty much everything about this book. Nonstop action, terrific imagination, good dialog, humor, & an endearing ending.

Fun!

It was a quick continuation of gore and a fun, entertaining story. I am enjoying the GORE series!

Great book.

Great story line. Unique twist to Dino’s. I’ve really enjoyed reading his books so far. I Recommend the Crevasse books. I would love to listen to a 3rd book for the crevasse series.

Came off as more annoying than anything else

The whole thing was a mess. I wasn’t expecting anything more than light book to listen to. I didn’t think a story about unearthed dinosaurs would be anything other than just mildly entertaining. But it was horrible. It was just completely uninteresting. It was filled with silly annoying completely ridiculous banter between horribly annoying characters. The narration was one of the worst I have ever heard before. No real inflection and almost as bad as AI read books. I paid for it so I forced myself to keep listening but it was one of the worst I’ve heard I awhile.

Narrator needs to BLOW HIS GOSH DARNED NOSE! And, a giant mechanical scorpion?

Okay. It’s a fight with a big mutant Dino. I can GROK that. But, now I have to imagine our heros riding around on a giant mechanical scorpion with a laser weapon on its tail too? Even if it’s the future this is an all out sci-fi fantasy future world of super giant mechs vs Kaiju …and that’s OK. When I was a tadpole I had a great assortment of dinosaurs, monsters, robots, and plastic army men - all of which were precious to me. I just didn’t know this was that sorta’ book. Now, if the super annoying “chit-chat” between each action scene could be regular dialogue this could be a good book. However, this shows the real weakness of a human narrator- cause Khai La not needs to B L O W H I S G O S H D A R N N O S E !
