Fun, charming and a must-read!

Over the Moon by Laura Pavlov is book is book 3 in her Rosewood River series and is small town romance with a sexy hockey player and forbidden love and I devoured it. Narrated by Charlotte North and Teddy Hamilton, they truly brought Clark and Eloise to life for me. Clark is back home after winning the Stanley Cup and getting injured. He knows he needs work to get back on track before next season, but home is where he is at his best. Now Eloise, a new team physical therapist and the coach’s daughter, has to go to him to help him heal. She is not happy.

I loved this story so much. It was so sweet and fun to read, but also a bit angsty and full of tension. Eloise is smart, likable and very determined. Because she has to go to Clark, she has some notions of the type of man he is and it was so much fun seeing her get to know him. Clark is charming, sexy, and just as determined. I loved the banter between them from the start. They definitely shared steamy chemistry and a connection, but it was slow going as they spent time together. But their organization has a no fraternization policy and she is the coach’s daughter. They should be a no-go from the start, but you can’t always help what you want. This is a must-read and one I highly recommend.

The duet narration brought this to life!

Clark & Eloise🥹 I loved these two so much! Clark is such a goofball but he has the biggest heart. Especially for Eloise. I love how he supported her and cheered her on. The banter was so much fun and I loved that he called her Weeze 😂. There were so many funny moments in this book. The pickleball game, the group chat, and of course the Chadwick family dinner! That dinner chapter had me laughing so hard I was in tears. Clark's dad was the star of that chapter. I got sooo excited when my girl Dylan showed up and gave Eloise some words of wisdom. And of course I can't forget Beefcake. I am so happy we still get to see him in this series! Over The Moon was everything I love about books written by Laura and I cant wait for the next book! ❤️

oh gosh teddy as a cocky hockey player really is perfect. he was fantastic in this one. i loved his voice for the kids in this one too. & the way you could hear his snarl in the jealousy scenes 🫠 10/10. i am always impressed with charlotte north. i truly think she needs way more attention bc she’s such an amazing narrator. her voice control & the way she performs emotional moments has me gagged every time. she was the perfect eloise.

oh clark chadwick, who knew you’d come in & become my new favorite laura man? there was tough competition but omg i’m in love. a golden retriever down bad for his girl is always my thing but this man was travis kelce coded in a way that made my swiftie heart so happy. & getting to see him & beefcake was my favorite thing ever. & i just adored eloise. she was so relatable. as a girlie with a workplace romance love story herself i loved this whole dynamic. & i lovedddddd her girl gang with our favorite ladies of rosewood river! these two were just the best & i had the best time catching up with my loves wolf&dylan from honey mountain! but i will say 👀👀 god i cant waiiiiiit for the next one. 🤭

Back to Rosewood River. Clark Chadwick comes home to rehab an injury. The team sends Eloise has the teams trainer to get him back on track. What could go wrong with falling for the trainer? Except having to answer to her father.
The chemistry was instant and the spice was hot.
The banter between these two was chef’s kiss.

The audiobook was narrated by Charlotte North and Teddy Hamilton. What a pairing this was. They did a phenomenal job not only with the main characters but also with the side characters.

Definitely worth a listen!

This book is just awesome, don't know if I ever laughed soicy reading a book
