Good story

Good story ruined by the angry aggression of a gay teenager. I hope the diversity push will disappear soon so writers can write with authenticity again. I think this would have been a much better series of books if Ben Galley wrote as the writer I think he is.

The conclusion to one of today’s BEST fantasy series!!!

Author Ben Galley had me hooked from the very beginning of this Emaneska series. I fell in love with not only the author’s prose, but his unique take on the fantasy genre. The series, while including nods to Norse mythology, and other tropes that allow the reader to situate themselves comfortably within the genre, the story, world and characters offer a more atypical and depth and dimension. The main character, The roles of heroes and villains and good and evil move through what might be considered grey areas. Though shadows play an important role in this story’s telling, I believe shadow is also an apt metaphor for what remains hidden as well. Ben Galley has become one of the of my favorite authors and I encourage everyone who appreciates well written characters, interesting worlds, and great unpredictable, emotionally intelligent fantasy to hop into ANY of his books!

Loved the whole series!!!

I have grown so fond of these characters! I will miss them like old friends that have moved on. Beautifully written and beautifully executed! I highly recommend listening.
