I can’t wait for the next book!

I enjoyed the book and reacquainting ourselves with Gideon and Eva. I am sort of missing the back story of how Christopher and Gideon made amends with each other. Did they?
Loved Ireland and Ronin, I was a little unsettled with the age difference but they seem to be well matched. I am already trying to predict book two. I have so many ideas of what may play out. I don’t want to spoil the story or the cliff hanger for anyone. Trust me the book is good. Story line has me wanting more. I want more of everybody. Videos and Ireland and Ronin and Christopher and his wife and back story too. Victor and his GF. I need to know I want details @Sylvia Day

Great start!

SD has done it again! A great start in a new chapter in the crossroad series. Ireland story is so fun. What a firecracker keep them coming and thanks.

Omg. It’s incredible. Love it!

I downloaded this as a book and read it when it was released on kindle. I have been waiting and waiting for the audio to come out. What an incredible surprise to have Ava and Gideon back as Jeremy York and Jill Redfield can only do. Brought such a wave of emotion to hear those voices again. But let’s get back to Ireland. She certainly has grown up. And to be able to hear about the other characters from the Crossfire series with an added delight. It kind of softened the blow a little bit after finding out this was going to be a bit of a cliffhanger. Even after reading it visually, it’s so completely different to do an audio version of a book. Everybody comes to life in such a wonderful way. Sylvia, this was worth waiting for, and you knocked it out of the park. Bryant Park!! Thank you so much. Can’t wait for the next installment.

Grown up Ireland kills it!

I knew she would be a baddie and loved getting a check in with Gideon and Eva! The narration is dual with multiple narrators, which enhances the experience. It’s does end on a cliff but that is par for Sylvia’s story telling, so I should have seen it coming. I will be getting Illusive when it comes out.

Love the story but.. waiting to the next one

The narration doesn’t fully capture the male character’s voice. Consider using a deeper, more grounded tone, and convey both strength and vulnerability. Right now, the delivery feels too neutral and distant, and it would benefit from more presence and emotional engagement.
