Castle (Chris) & Callie (Calliope) - Spoiler

These books just keep getting better and better. I saw none of the twists in this book coming. I’m so glad that Castle is really Neve & Eilish’s 1/2 brother & Cillian has turned out to be a decent family man of a psycho. I’ve like the Castle character since the beginning when Ares married Neve, so it was nice to read his story. Also, these are my fave narrators.

Crushed By Chaos

Callie makes a mistake when she kisses Castle but can't regret it. When he saves her a few days later from getting raped by her fiance she thinks things will change. When Castle married Callie to protect her from the son of her former fiance and the Kildare and Drakos assets things still don't change. But Callie won't accept that she can see Castle wants her and she plans on making their marriage permanent in this intriguing read. Loved all the twists in this one. Phenomenal Performance

after listening to the audio books before this one i just don't see castle saying those sexual things in that way and using the word baby girl. I don't feel like that would be his personality. and Cassie was extremely immature in all the books especially in #4 and I don't think she was a good fit for castle at all. I would have put her with Massimo because I don't think he would have been the villain everyone expected him to be but totally opposite of his father. I would have paired castle up with a more mature woman in her mid or late 20s. Cassie should of had her own story as well as castle. and I also wish these audio books were in duet. but the other books before this one were pretty good in my opinion.

Hard to finish this one

I had a hard time finishing this book. I expected more from Castle and Callie’s story. It was a let down. I skim and kept pressing forward most of the time. I think my eyeballs hurts from rolling my eyes all the time 🤣. I hate the FMC, so immature and all she does is try to seduce the MMC. I would have wanted for her to have a bit of dignity for helself instead she kept throwing herself at Castle. I got sick and tired of it. The story got too repetitive, mostly Callie wants to jump Castle blah blah blah….everytime he tried to resist her after 2 minutes Bam! he gives in. The plot was okay, it was there but poorly laid out and executed, could have been better, I felt like it this book was written just for the sake of this two characters to have their own HEA. The other books were way way better. This one is at the bottom of my list for this series.
