Rico Kline is finding that the life of a summoned being isn’t an easy one.

At any moment he could be summoned to another world and ordered to participate in a battle, be experimented on by strange species, or even babysit a deadly monster.

His life on Earth isn’t any easier, as mysterious people and organizations try to track him down for their own nefarious purposes. Despite the dangers, Rico’s power continues to grow as the system rewards his efforts. He’s also not alone as new allies emerge and if he’s lucky, he just might find a place of refuge in the chaotic world he now lives in.

Book 2 in this unique spin on isekai LitRPG, about a MC turned into a summon minion who has to complete tasks for random summoners, allowing for a variety of adventures, foes, and missions as he progresses in power each time... But is any of it random?

I don’t like them book try to change what you liked about the first book in the second and you did not do that every felt like the story was just progressing, he is not op or the chosen one him seems like a average person just trying to survive

Good I like that nothing big changed

Not a standalone. Guy continues his adventures as a summoned being. He visits a magical city that caters to summons. Enters a tournament. Works for a dungeon and the a starship. He meets a demon. Escapes a cult and joins a summon protection group.

Definitely not a standalone. The pace continues steady. Feels like an anthology. Great narrator. Please enjoy

Fun

It is an interesting take on going on an adventure but it's fun. A few interesting choices on the authors part but it makes it lest predictable.

Fun adventure

I was happy that book 2 kept with the same humor. The MC"s progression is coming along nicely and well thought out. I cant wait for book 3. The only complaint i have, is the narrator felt a little monotone on this one, It was a little rough at the start but ended up not bad.

Very enjoyable

Plot choices in this one were not what I was expecting after reading the first book. Progression felt slow and too much time was spent on the individual summoning adventures and not enough on more general world building. Would have liked to see more reoccurring characters get developed. We saw the gnome briefly but nothing from the other linked summon women strangely. The lack of the other 3 most important characters from book 1 (Minerva, Gnome and the woman he saved) really reduced how much I cared about events.

Generally fun listen, worth the credit. Step down from the first though
