A great book made even better

Will Patton is absolutely amazing. Every character comes to life as it did on the screen. His reading of Gus is spot on perfect!

Not the typical cowboy story

The narrator was excellent. The characters came to life with McMurtrys beautiful prose. A story of life with all its joys and regrets and failings.

Outstanding Performance & Story

I have zero notes. This is the prolific novel that you were promised and Will Patton was the perfect choice for narrating.

The Perfect Western

One of my new favorite books of all time. Only flaw is the narrator sometimes gets too into the voices and makes it hard to understand, otherwise its perfect.

Yes, it’s as good as everyone says it is

This is now my favorite book. I didn’t know characters could be written like they are in this book. I usually have a hard time really attaching to characters, but here I was attached to so many that I lost track! It’s seriously so good. The first book I ever wanted to immediately repeat after finishing.
