They say you can’t run from your past. But damn, I am determined to try.
I had finally escaped as I had always planned. Things were going great—I had new friends, a job, and a new life.
When I’m called back home to deal with an emergency, I do my best to fly under the radar. But I should know by now it’s never easy when it comes to the three Taylor brothers. They’re charming, arrogant, and downright dangerous.
It’s a catastrophic domino effect, and even though I try as hard as I can to move forward, there’s one rule I had forgotten:
The games are never really over.
Pretty Savages is a reverse harem taboo romance—meaning the main female character will have more than one love interest, and yes—it's downright dirty and taboo. The characters are morally grey, hot and questionable. It contains adult themes, course language and is solely intended for mature audiences over 18. Pretty Savages is book two in The Lies We Keep series.

💭 as a series... the storyline is good. the tropes hooked me. but 𝗿𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗲? this girl🙄🤦🏽♀️ back at it again with her 𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙨!! ill leave her part at that. atleast 𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿 showed a sliver of growth. 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗰𝗸 faded this round with his MC duties but completely understandable (even if... *shocker* ...the girl who "𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘥𝘭𝘺" hung out with bikers dont get it why he cant juz walk away). 𝘇𝗮𝘆𝗻 is mischievious as always & 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗲... my dude!! ur still the only 1 with the 𝙈𝙊𝙎𝙏 sense in the bunch!! a breath of fresh air as he & the delicious spice saved my rating.
🎧 hearing this on audio def leveled it up. the narrators did a fab job at bringing the characters to life in this full cast duet. 𝘮𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘴 captured rylee's stubborn brattiness while 𝘫𝘰𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘪, 𝘢𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬, & 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 voiced the men in her life so well in a way that would make u melt!! juz need more of them!! 1 things for sure... ive never been this xcited about a cliffy😅 on to the nxt♥️
‼️ 𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨. ✔️🆃🆆/🅲🆆

Pretty Savages, book two of The Lies We Keep series, picks up right we're Vicious Games left off with Rylee moved into her new place trying to put some distance between her and the Taylor brothers. This is short lived however because she's soon going back for her best friends wedding and things spiral pretty quickly from there. What I liked about this book was that we got to know a little more about Zayn and Blake and got to see their dynamic with Rylee. We got to learn a little more about their back stories and see the glimpse of their dynamic with Asher as well. I also loved the brief times we got to see of Chuck and Rylee. I love their relationship and how sweet and nontoxic it is compared to the others😂This book was filled with drama, angst, comedy and of course plenty of chaos, which you know is so on brand for a Steph Macca book. That cliffhanger of an ending was torture but I loved the glimpse we got into Ashers mind. The angst he feels for Rylee and his willingness to make her happy just to be with her was so🥹🥹. Michelle, Joe, Sean, Aaron and Anthony do a fantastic job voicing this series. I love the sass and spunkiness Michelle brings to Rylee. Aaron was absolutely amazing as Chuck and I really hope we get to see more of him in future books. I love the playfulness and chaotic energy Sean gives to this series as Zayn, and the mystery Anthony gives to Blake. Joe truly gives a heart wrenching performance as Asher, the angst and hurt in his voice during any of his and Rylee's scenes together will break your heart. Blue Nose produced another wonderful audio with this one💙
