John Dodge makes a living moving around the country, fixing up small businesses on the brink of disaster. His newest venture takes him to South Carolina, where he’s greeted by an odd sight: Julia Darrow, walking across Lambert Square, in pajamas.

Wonderful story

This felt like a departure for Sara Donati, but I’m not sure she could write a bad story. A cute little fantasy of a town and fun characters, not all human. The narration improved with time, but some unfortunate timing and pronunciation are the cause for the lower marks. Looking forward to Sara’s next book!
