She came to sell her soul.
He wants to ruin her body first.

Georgia has spent her life running from demons. But when her brother is dying and no cure can save him, she has no choice but to strike a deal with the monster all others fear.

The bargain was meant to be simple: her soul in exchange for her brother's life.

But Demon Prince Kesh has other plans.

She will be marked.
She will be trained.
She will be bred.

Sentenced to a future as a Breeder, Georgia is meant for another demon's bed. Kesh is only meant to prepare her—subdue her, awaken her body, make her submission absolute—then auction her off and return to his war.

But Fate has other plans.

One taste of her, and hard-won discipline unravels. She is warmth. She is hunger. She is everything he was never meant to have.

And if he can't give her up, he won't just lose his throne...

He'll bring Hell itself to their door.

An intense dark paranormal romance with a touch-hungry demon prince, high fantasy stakes, and a heroine who refuses to break. For fans of steamy power-play, emotional ruin, and fate-marked mates.

i heard that Nora was delaying the release of this book because Kesh was too much of an @sshole in the first version 😆 if that's true, it was ABSOLUTELY the right choice. Nora does a great job here of writing a morally ambiguous MMC without romanticizing noncon (fetishizing, yes, but the romance is fueled by moments of teamwork and consideration).

definitely worth the delay!

This is the second book in the Demon's Mark series and it was just as good as the first one. So spicy, loved the supernatural story, and Jason & Stella NEVER disappoint. I could listen to them narrate just about anything. As a matter of fact, I have started searching for books read by Jason & Stella, as well as several other amazing narrators. Even if the book is not good, the narrators can save it. On the other hand, if the narrators are bad, they can ruin the most amazing books.

Absolutely Loved

What kind of power has you making one stupid mistake after the other? The female character is trash. She was so pathetic, midway through the book I was actually rooting for her demise!!! The book completely lost the significance of the stone with the help of the dummy MFC. Selma from the first book actually tried to give this dummy the stone for her own benefit and future possibilities and she rejected it just to stay subjugated to demons. She didn't realize or forward-think about the possibility of defending herself against the state of her own miserable future effectively setting women back over 50 years. She was a self-sabotaging fool. I actually feel sorry for the demon prince who ended up with her for eternity. The first book was way better than this one. The story has two stars because I think the father's backstory is much more interesting and intriguing. If this second book wasn't so bad I would look forward to the third one. However, the book wouldn't be bad for a free read. This is not worth your coins or credit imo.

The MFC was wayyyyy tooo Weak for my taste.
