Love this one!

This book took me through it. I think it is the story of many young women and a testament of how the system fails Black women.

Amazing story💯

I will say, this story will take you through the emotional roller coaster. I loved the narrators, they were perfect. They story took care with the sensitive subject matter.

I wanted to understand her mother's backstory to try and figure her out but I am not sure there is anything she can say to excuse behavior. I just have a hard time believing people are that heartless but the world is full of them.

Wow! What a read. It definitely had me in my feels. I cried and swooned and cried some more. So happy with the ending . 10/10!!

Wow

This book had me in my feelings. It took me back to my childhood and helped me to realize that I’m stronger. I know this is fictional but I could relate to this story. And right now with my mind not being in a good place, it is helping me feel better. Ms Brown did a great job with this book.

Absolutely Wonderful

This book gives all the feels; anger, sadness, joy, hopefulness, vindication. The abuse the MFC suffered was heartbreaking. The love and patience the MMC had for her so sweet. Author Kimberly Brown did an amazing job penning this book. The narrators did a wonderful job as well. Highly recommend!!
