Very real and emotional read!

This was a very real and emotional read that I couldn’t go to sleep until I finished it. The way Kimberly had me crying because what happened in this book happens too often and it’s not talked about enough. The narrators were good and the story was great from beginning to end!!!

This book took me through it. I think it is the story of many young women and a testament of how the system fails Black women.

This book was a breath of fresh air compared to some of the past books I’ve read. It had a plot. It had a story. It had feeling. It was amazing. Unfortunately, the main character had to go through some very hard times, but this book was a complete circle. If you need a good book to read that has a mixture of emotions, happiness, anger, love, and a little bit of sex. This is the book for you.

This book had me in my feelings. It took me back to my childhood and helped me to realize that I’m stronger. I know this is fictional but I could relate to this story. And right now with my mind not being in a good place, it is helping me feel better. Ms Brown did a great job with this book.
