weak vs insanely strong

Edge is strong among his peers but he seems to find himself facing insurmountable odds at best and pulling through some how. Hopefully the 3rd audible book doesn't take too long. I really enjoyed the story.

Good story by slow start

Great sequel and looking forward to the next one. Some sections felt like page fillers as author restated the same thing as if to remind the reader in full detail of all relevant facts regarding the next upcoming plot point. Slowed down the story and made me tune out a couple times.

good enough

mostly I write these reviews for myself so I can look at then to remind myself whether I should get the next book.

whenever the MC started oggling female characters i could feel my interest in this book start to wither. The first part of the book had a lot to do with setting up a freinds with benefits scenario and then all the female characters flirting with him, I wouldn't quite say this is harem, but it could see it slipping into it.

The stat sections were getting a bit out of control at times. Everytime he reads a reward he also reads the snarky nonsense the system sent him that was attached. it just added more words without adding any real value.

I will get the next book probably

The only issue with this storyline is it ends so quickly. Keep it coming please, in need of book 3 yes yes

good story and progression

the chapters can be wordy , the author says something, says it again slightly different, and again before getting to the point that was obvious 10 flowery and puffed up sentences earlier.
the story is good enough to put up with but it should be 90 chapters instead of 107 if the fluff was tamed a bit
