Loved the unexpected turn!

This was fun listen. I loved the twists and turns and it kept me engaged. I started to worry the plot was falling flat but I like where it went. Excited to listen to book 2!

This one is a MUST!

If you devour dark romance like I do… you’re going to want to go ahead and just get this one. Like right now. Seriously. DO IT.

The writing is solid, the plot feels original, the characters are believable, the twists actually surprise you, the narration is fantastic—and the sex scenes are… well, let me put it this way:

1. Headphones. Good ones. The kind no one else can hear.
2. A weekend. Or those unused sick days 😉
3. Solitude. Banish all fellow domicile dwellers. Otherwise, you’ll be explaining why you stopped mid-task and have been staring into space for the last 37 minutes. That glazed, thousand-yard stare will have people checking your prescription bottles.
(Exception: if your home includes some decent man meat, consider a partial banishing. You may require his services later.)
4. Extra unmentionables. I’m giving this a Level 5 Panty Peril rating—expect high tides and slippery conditions. Plan accordingly.

Final piece of wisdom: make sure you have an extra credit ready. The second that book ends (there’s the twist you didn’t see coming… right into the cliffhanger you absolutely did), you’re going to need book two ASAP.

Kept Me Guessing

First off the story itself is amazing. The characters and plot kept me captivated and wanting more.

Sebastian York is one of my favorite voice actors and I don't hesitate getting an audiobook that he is a part of. This book was not any different.

Heather Firth did an amazing job and really brought the character, Harper-Rayn, to life.

Thoroughly enjoyed this production.

I loved all of the twists in this book.

All of the tension between the characters was intense.

I thought for sure I knew what was happening and I was thrown for a loop at the end.

I am waiting for the second book to come out to see if another character comes back in the picture. I thought for sure he was going to do something.
