Terrible accent

I was so bored with this book. I had to force myself to finish it. The Italian accent was awful. The story line and details were dumb.

Well done

I enjoyed this sequel immensely. Great performance. Well told storytelling and a satisfying twist to end the tale. Love the character development as well.

Nice to find a new book by this author. Read many of her books in the past, look forward to more in the future.

I was predisposed to loving THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING, which can be a blessing and a curse. Unreasonably high expectations can lead to equally big disappointments or perhaps I overlook flaws.

Or neither.

I genuinely enjoyed THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING. Though even richer because I read THE UNRAVELING OF JULIA and a number of books with Attorney Bennie Rosati, THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING can be well-enjoyed as a standalone story.

Following a premonition, Julia rushes back to Pennsylvania from her home in Italy to support her BFF Courtney. Murder, mayhem and chaos ensue.

Scottoline is at the top of her game with THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING. Don’t read too many reviews. You don’t want one detail of this gem spoiled.

What I miss the most

I want to return to the power writing of the author’s earlier works when an all-woman practice solved difficult cases and won the respect and envy of many. This book had a much less appealing premise. The author’s writing wasn’t as strong as it used to be. The conversations were particularly weak. The addition of the ability to have visions weakened the story.
