From Ilona Andrews, #1 New York Times bestselling author, the thrilling conclusion to her first trilogy within the Hidden Legacy series, as Nevada and Rogan grapple with a power beyond even their imagination…

Nevada Baylor can’t decide which is more frustrating—harnessing her truthseeker abilities or dealing with Connor “Mad” Rogan and their evolving relationship. Yes, the billionaire Prime is helping her navigate the complex magical world in which she’s become a crucial player—and sometimes a pawn—but she also has to deal with his ex-fiancée, whose husband has disappeared, and whose damsel-in-distress act is wearing very, very thin.

Rogan faces his own challenges, too, as Nevada’s magical rank has made her a desirable match for other Primes. Controlling his immense powers is child’s play next to controlling his conflicting emotions. And now he and Nevada are confronted by a new threat within her own family. Can they face this together? Or is their world about to go up in smoke?

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

This story has so many interesting elements. The world building, characters, and action are why I read anything Ilona Andrews writes!

Yes, there’s a standalone mystery and citywide threat featuring Rogan’s former flame. And, yes, it game great intrigue and action. But, my favorite parts were the series development of the Baylor family’s various powers and their place in society. I was on the edge of my seat cheering as the family comes together, each going all in to claim Prime status and all the consequences that carries. The finale was high stakes and heartfelt. The stronger familial bonds made for stronger stories and, with this book 3, the Hidden Legacy series officially became my favorite Ilona Andrews series.

As the next three books pivot to Catalina’s POV, I can’t wait for the graphic audio treatment. I can only pray we’ll eventually get POV stories for the rest of the Baylor clan.

Outstanding Performance

This has to be one of my favorite full cast Audio series. I've re-listened to it multiple times now and decided I also wanted it on Audible. It's worth it. Though I wonder what Sgt. Teddy thinks of the Harrison family. Yeah, the grizzly bear is one of my favorite minor characters. Come to think of it, I wonder what he thinks about Arabella's metamorphosis ability.

Ok, down to the serious stuff. I love the music and soundtrack they added to the story because it really enhances it, and I love the fact that Arabella gets her own little battle theme music. The cast is stellar (with all my favorites) and does an outstanding job in portraying their characters. It never ceases to amaze me at the versatility of the voice actors.

The story (and series) itself is one of my favorites from one of my favorite authors (well, writing team, really, since it's both the wife and husband), and I'm never disappointed with their writings. But, again, they're one of my favorites so I might be biased. All in all, the dramatized version of Wild Fire is very much worth the purchase and an addictive listen (for me).

I never tire of the full cast audios

Due to the danger facing Nevada and her family, they have decided to declare themselves as House. But first she has to deal with finding Rogan’s ex-fiancé’s missing husband.

As with almost all of Ilona Andrews books, I couldn’t put this one down. I was instantly sucked into this new case and the Baylor family declaring themselves a house. This is a fascinating world with a wide variety of magical abilities within it. Also the politics within this series is very interesting and the more we learn about it the more complex and deadly it seems.

In this one we see Nevada and Rogan really starting to work as a team together. They instantly gravitated towards helping each other and there isn’t the tension from the previous cases. These two are definitely going to be a power couple who love and fight well together. Also, I loved that we finally are seeing Rogan starting to be flexible in their relationship and not just kill everything that is a threat to Nevada. Though I do really like him when he is grumpy and protective.

We finally get to meet the evil grandmother in this book. She is a terrible person but had some redeeming qualities too. Also, I expected more to happen with her but maybe that will come to play in later books. Also, we finally get to see the last sister’s ability and why it has been kept so confined. A lot happens in this book and it was all wonderful and captivating.

Overall, this was a wonderful addition to Nevada and Rogan’s story. I really love these two and can’t get enough of them fighting and loving. Also, I love all the side characters in this series so much, especially Nevada’s family members. Grandma Frida is a hoot.

I love Rogan and Nevada!
