My five huge housemates are my stepbrothers and my worst enemies!

When Mom tells me she’s getting married and moving to Antigua, I don’t know what to do. My friends are all in relationships, and I can’t afford to pay rent on my own. With no other options, I reluctantly accept my stepfather’s offer to move in with his sons. I imagine two preppy guys who look like their dad, so I’m not expecting the five huge men who greet me at the door to their mansion.

Alden, Danny, Mark, Tobias, and River Carlton think I exist for their entertainment. The men spend their days finding stupid ways to annoy me and their nights wandering around the house in towels, leaving nothing to the imagination. I’m talking about hard abs, hard chests, and hard other things I really shouldn’t be thinking about–especially not in the plural.

My mom might be able to put the past behind her, but I can’t forget the unfinished business between our families. I hate the Carltons with a passion. All they do is reinforce how foolish it is to trust men, especially from a family like theirs.

They think I’m a pushover like my dad, but they’re going to see another side of me. I have moves that will get them so hot and bothered that they won’t even remember their own names. I’m going to build them up and then take them down.

There’s no way I could ever catch the feels for such ridiculously sexy but totally infuriating men, is there?

Let the games begin.

Huge House Hates is an enemies to lovers reverse harem romance with a happy ever after ending. It's book 12 in the best-selling Huge series, standalone romances with characters who continue to make appearances!

So our FMC has some resentment and maybe its initially taken out on the wrong people but that first half of the book was pretty funny. Except what Danny initiated, kinda wish he got dragged a bit more and made to grovel. I love when men grovel for doing wrong to their FMCs. The 2nd half, wow the spice, it was delicious. That grand gesture was perfect. My husband doesn't always understand why I like some of the books I like but he enjoys the benefits. He agrees this is a really good book.

When I encountered this story for the first time in print, I was taken aback by the DP. Months (or is it years) later, I am hearing the book read to me by the narrators it still takes me aback — only because I am trying to figure out how it would all work, lol!

That aside, I love how their love story developed. I'm not sure if I am okay with how quickly Cora forgave Danny, but I accept that, given the circumstances, it can happen that way.

I'm not very okay with the voice actors because I feel like James Amherst could have made the voices of the brothers more distinct. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between Alden, Mark, Tobias, Danny, and River.

That aside, it is a really good story and was fun to read and listen to.

This one is a whole lot of fun! It stats out definitively in the “hate” column for Cora and the boys, because she’s punishing them for something that is admittedly not really their fault. Pranks ensue, and plenty of laughter, as well as just a bit of frustration.
As with all things Stephanie Brother, there’s always more depth than you initially think though. This is the case for Cora’s story as well. While she may initially seem a bit rough around the edges, as you begin to get to know her, you learn to love her. Just as the guys do.
The narrators for this do a pretty good job, they’re very clear and easy to understand. I didn’t feel their emotion as deeply as I have with some of the other narrators of Stephanie Brother’s books, but I still enjoyed the listen.
Overall a wonderful book, and a spicy fun read.

This was a book that has a lot of heat to it but still has a decent storyline.
The chemistry if out of this world between all main characters.
The narrator has done a brilliant job of bringing the book and characters to life.

Very entertaining
