Good addition to this series

This next addition to the Ghost Ops series was a good read and left me wanting for more.

Callie is a coder that finds herself in need of a body guard when someone starts a fire in the lab that she works in and trapped her in there. She seeks help from the Ghost Ops crew to protect her and her teenage sister while she questions if she should just go on the run. She ends up with Seth (Phantom) as her body guard who she thinks does not like her only to discover that she has more in common with him than she realizes.

Seth, viewed as the grumpy one is tasked with protecting Callie and her sister Nikki. He opens up more with her than he has with other people. He doesn't trust easily but finds that he can't help himself when with Callie and has a strong urge to keep her and her sister safe while looking for who is after her and fighting his own demons.

This pair were well written characters. Callie is grieving the death of her parents, dealing with their debt while navigating being guardian to her sister who has had her whole life uprooted while grieving for he parents on top of dealing with the threat to her. Seth with his issues was more than I expected. He opened up when not expected and was a tormented character. Together the chemistry between them was off the charts and the banter between the characters was entertaining. The plot of their story was a little slow in places but still made for a good read. I enjoyed the return of the characters from the previous books in the series and was left looking forward to the next book in the series.

Overall, this was a good read that I would recommend to others as well as the rest of the series to others.

wow oh wow! such great narration

I have enjoyed reading and listening to all of the Ghost Ops books, but Jason Clarke's narration for this on was next level. His voicing for Seth was so sexy, but the Mississippi accent for Chance was panty melting! Lynn Raye Harris is a master storyteller at romantic suspense.

Grumpy Operator vs Nerdy Computer Programmer

Oh my god, I just finished listening to the third book in Lynn Raye Harris's Ghost Ops series. Let me tell you, this book is out of this world good!!!!!! What do you get when you put a grumpy operator with a nerdy code programmer??? You get a combustible situation, that's what!! It was so good to be back in Sutton's Creek for awhile. Seth and Callie are perfect together!! I won't give away any spoilers, but WOW, this story is wonderful from beginning to end. Lynn Raye Harris has a talent that knows no bounds! Add in Nikki and Luna, and this story has it all!!! Please go grab a copy of SETH, and you'll see what I mean. You won't regret it, I guarantee :D CONGRATULATIONS, Lynn on yet another fantastic read. What's Not To Love

What's not to love about this latest Ghost Ops book? When Seth is assigned to protect Callie from threats at her top secret job, Seth is certain he'll never fall like Blaze and Chance. Working together, Seth and Callie are determined to figure out not only where the threats are coming from, but also their future together. I look forward to returning to Sutton's Creek and the men and women of One Shot Tactical. AUDIO: The duel narration by Jason Clarke and Angelina Rocca was outstanding.

I’m Loving these Ghost Ops Romances!!

Ghost Ops are a team of men who do not exist. They work dangerous missions, and have no family or connections. This is a point of humor in this series, as so far two members have found their “person” and as this story progresses it looks like Seth is next.

Caroline Cromwell is a programmer on the project they are currently tracking. Someone is threatening her, and she comes to One shot Tactical for assistance, not knowing just how involved they are. Callie is trying to maintain a “normal” life for her sister Nikki after the loss of their parents.

Complex, touching, romantic, intriguing, found family and a good dose of dogs and horses lay the groundwork for a story which you will not be able to put down. Absolutely loved it!
