Great Story

Wonderful start to a new series. As always Susan Stoker tells a story that keeps you holding on untll the end.

Another outstanding story!

Loved the new Seal Team and integrated with the original Seal Team, Baker and Tex along with the wives! I can’t wait for next book to come out!! Well done,Susan!!

the gasp I gasped!!!

my goodness! what a Rollercoaster of emotions on this one!!! I have so many things to say bit Spoilers!! trust me, things are broken, things are healed. a lot happens in this book, and nothing is missed.

Perfect Start to a new Series!

Perfect start to a new series! I loved this one! From the meet-cute to the end or even the sneak peek into the next book. The story just surprised and shocked me. The characters are delightful. I liked her job! I was unsure of the insta-love si ce they were both just out of horrifying relationships. In fact I was SHOCKEd at the gall that Miles has at the beginning. I think my mouth was hanging open catching flies when he was talking to Remi. Disgusted! Meeting Kevlar is like going back in time and made me feel at home. He sounds like he has a wonderful team that I will enjoy getting to know in future books. Love the howdy doo’s with Wolf and gang as well as seeing BAKER!! Seeing these guys older is different.

I listened to this on audio. Emma Wilder and Ryan West are amazing as the narrators. They are clear spoken and enjoyable to listen to.

I am really looking forward to the next in the series.

Holds its own

How cool to be back in San Diego again. Even though the sights don’t figure in the plot, it just feels familiar. I like how the characters are both insecure to a degree but insist on being openly honest. Because it starts in Hawaii we get to see the characters on two fronts. Finally, after so many books, Stoker managed to come up with another original story. Well, sort of original. We all pretend we dont see the formula. Hahaha

A new generation of Alpha men and their women

Quintessential Susan Stoker. Strong, lonely, rough around the edges SEAL meets needy woman who wants but doesn't really need a protector. Add in a bad guy and a kidnapping and you have a fun, fast-paced love story for the ages. Excellent start to a new series.

coincidental meeting?

Kevlar and Remi, coincidental meeting? Jealousy, collateral damage, Blink and his loss and ability to realize something wasn't right. Remi and her optimistic outlook? All wrapped up in a wonderful tingling story. Well written story with The Choice of Emma Wilder and Ryan West for Narrators was Excellent

Great story in new series

I loved listening to Protecting Remi and having Ryan West and Emma Wilder bringing these characters and the story to life in Susan Stoker’s new series, SEAL of Protection: Alliance. Vincent “Kevlar” and Remi meet under unique circumstances and I really enjoyed how their relationship developed and progressed afterwards. I love being back in this author’s SEAL world again, the friendships and camaraderie, romantic suspense and of course, Wolf & Caroline making appearances in this book. I’m already looking forward to the next book after the epilogue.

Wow!

This is a new favorite of mine from this author. There’s just something about this story that digs into your heart and won’t let go!

Remi Stephenson is a cartoonist and a bit of an introverted loner. She and her boyfriend have broken up. Vincent ‘Kevlar’ Hill is a Navy SEAL who has just broken up with his girlfriend. They were each supposed to go to Hawaii with their significant others, but after said breakups, they each head there alone. They both end up on the same dive/snorkel trip, where they get left behind by the boat captain. Suffice it to say, danger brings out the best or worst in people, and Kevlar is thrilled with the way Remi reacts. I’m not exactly sure how the captain was able to leave without Remi noticing, since she was only snorkeling, but that’s a minor detail.

The story moves rapidly, and the amount of tension is perfect. These are protagonists that are likable and part of an extended team that is going to be fun to get to know. This is the first book in the series and it looks to be an excellent one if the storylines are each this good!
