When an accident claims the lives of two young women, one is chosen to become a hero, a saviour, and a servant of the God of Heroes.

The other, Valeria, is carried along by her friend's soul into a new world, where her wandering spirit is claimed by the Goddess of Darkness.

While one is destined for glory, Valeria, who was never meant to be there at all, is remade into the servant of a terrifying divine power and given a grim purpose: to help usher in a new age of despair and disgust.

Unfortunately for fate, Valeria is terrible at being evil.

Though she does her best to serve and please her adoptive mother, the Dark Goddess Luciana, Valeria is too awkward, too earnest, and far too much of a dork to become the dread harbinger of doom she was meant to be.

I enjoyed this story, honestly loved the beginning pretty much any things y by RavensDagger except the usage of sexual relationships

this one had a fun emotional based magic system, and Felix is just... the biggest sweetheart. I hope for a sequel soon!

Great characters, fun magic system

This is a very cozy and cute self contained story with relatively low stakes that is just delightful from beginning to end. It is a nice and pleasant diversion from the serial escalation that typically happens in fantasy these days.

One of my Favorite RavensDagger projects

When the VA gives a preteen begger girl the voice you'd expect for a 16 year old boy going through puberty it really throws you out of the story. I stopped listening multiple times because how bad it is. will change this review if a good reason is given later in story. edit: I'm done, can't stand the voice. I keep thinking it will be the voice of a cheerful little girl and it constantly throws me. will check again later if the story gets revoiced.

The worst voice for felix.
