Why do some people seem to move through life with ease, confidence, and opportunity—while others feel stuck, repeating the same patterns no matter how hard they try?

What if the difference isn’t effort, but something far less obvious?

First published in the early 20th century, The Game of Life and How to Play It remains one of the most widely read guides to personal growth, manifestation, and spiritual alignment.

In this timeless classic, Florence Scovel Shinn explains how your beliefs, expectations, and words quietly influence the opportunities and outcomes in your life.

At its core, this book reveals a simple truth: what you consistently expect, speak, and believe tends to shape what you experience.

While many people notice these patterns, few fully understand why they happen or how to work with them intentionally.

Presented in a clear and grounded way, these ideas help you recognize how small shifts in thought can begin to influence real outcomes.

This edition includes a custom introduction, a bonus section of affirmations, and a summary chapter of key lessons for easy reflection.

For generations, listeners have returned to this classic for one enduring message: when your thoughts begin to change, your life begins to follow.

Start listening today—and discover what may have been shaping your results all along.

It’s interesting how some things from long ago are still so relevant today. The idea that your thoughts and words shape what happens in your life is talked about by today’s thought leaders as though it is new news…..but, in fact, has been around for ages.

It’s actually mad how a book from a century ago still feels so relevant. The focus on how your thoughts shape your reality is kept simple and really easy to follow. It gets a bit repetitive, but the narrator’s voice makes it a proper chilled listen. Definitely worth a go if you’re into mindset stuff but want something straightforward.

Surprisingly decent for such an old book
