Odd

So the book started off pretty cool. Zombies, blood and gore. And, I could even survive “the ocean“. I was invested. And not in a good way. The more the story went on the more I thought, “what the hell am I doing with my life“. And then it just got better. It started to ramble about the hydrogen line, floaters, lepers, sloughing skin. Needless to say, I kept listening. Invested in an investment that never returned.

Bad AI narrative

The story started off good but ends up way out in left field. It lost my attention.
The AI narrative is horrible in my opinion, run on sentences, no emotions etc. I’d give this story 3 or 4 stars if it wasn’t AI narrated.

zombie apocalypse for weak minded

First narration is like a speed reader not taking any pauses, secondly, the survivors are the most weak minded individuals ever. The entire thing just is pathetic. It had a pretty good setting, and really seemed like it was gonna go somewhere good. After about seventeen chapters in it. Just goes horribly wrong.

Zombies! I'm over zombies

Besides the fact that this story has zombies, I cannot guess how or why it was recommended.
The robot narrating this story is horrendous. It doesn't pronounce some words correctly, for example from the beginning the word regarding, re-bar is pronounced reb_bar

AI Slop

It says that AI is the narrator and it shows. Monotone with no emotional expression, mispronounced words take you out of the story. The language of the story feels as thought it was AI generated as well. Clunky, awkward like a robot pretending to be human. Didn’t get past chapter 10. I hope this is not the future of audiobooks.
