Chapters missing and duplicated

While I feel the narrator did a good job of voicing the characters and the story is a good one, however the assembly of the chapters in the book had absolutely NO quality assurance done to it.

I’m only up to book 7 and there are more than a handful of chapters that are either mislabeled, duplicated where they simply replay the previous chapter over again or seemingly skipped all together.

It’s so frustrating to know that you won’t know if you missed something crucial or not and you have to just, live with it? Please fix this!
And for the love of all that’s dear PLEASE get rid of the sound effects between chapters!

story line was unbelievably the best I've ever came across

on con was the people who put the audio reading to gather didn't proof listen very well along of repeT chapters and some missing

The building of the characters and the overall plot

Some of the lines were mixed started with one character talking and ended with a different character name

Generally good

I’ll keep this short. Over 120 hours for 1 credit is a steal. The story is relatively simple and would be better for long car rides or a very casual listen. I enjoyed it a lot. One problem that I found is that at least 6 chapters repeat themselves and I believe one may completely replace the next chapter. It’s not a huge deal, but it is mildly annoying. The performance was great. A few mispronounced words but the narrator’s ability to set the scene with his techniques is great!

Good story line

There were a few overlaps or repeated chapters but for how much audio time vs how much you pay its worth 3 overlaps. I’d listen again.

Bad audio production/editing

I honestly can't tell if the story is good or not, I can't get over the buzzing in the audio and the multiple repeating chapters. Chapter 30 was read twice and then skipped to chapter 33. That wasn't the first time either.

Plus it feels like they slowed it down by 20%, one of the first things I did was speed it up to 1.2. It sounds more natural. Could have been good? too much shenanigans going on with the audio to enjoy the series. Maybe I will try to finish this series some other time, for now it's getting shelved.

Loveed the story was not so fond of repeating scenes, some of the audio and sound effects.

The story was awesome. However, I was not fond of the long pauses that included music and/or sound effects between each section and on occasion, there were sections that repeated themselves and the narrator's voice was a little much at times. also the narrator pronounced words including main character names incorrectly. Otherwise the books were awesome. Kept me engaged and it was a great value for the credit..

To the listeners author and narrator

An excellent story but has some issues with missing chapters and double up chapters otherwise absolutely well worth the listen and a great value.

Great narration, sound effects and music.

One of my first "70+ hour" books was a Halloran-Alan production. Lee Alan gives a top notch storytelling with plenty of sound effects and background music. The narration and characters talking are all nicely distinct. Absolutely great to listen to.

The story... on the simple side. However, it has the benefit that your attention can drift. Turn your attention back, and you'll be back in the action within a minute. Still, there's lots of great action, dialog and atmosphere.

I'll repeat this is great to listen to. Highly recommended.
