Great start to this new dark fantasy duet…

Main trope: This is a dark, romantic fantasy. Book one in a duet.

Final thoughts: What a great start to the duet. This author writes dark fantasy very well and I’m excited to continue with book two. I listened to this on audiobook and really enjoyed it and intend on listening to the next book once it’s released as I thought the narrators did a great job.

The story had a perfect flow to it.And it was so well written. It really put you into a different headspace.In the world that she was creating. For the first time, I didn't really know which way was up. Which way was down?Because I knew there was gonna be a twist but I didn't expect what I read at the end. It really kept me on my toes.

Liked the twists it takes. Well written and easy to follow. Looking forward to book two.
