... I say go in blind on this one. DO NOT LISTEN OR READ any reviews because... they absolutely do this book injustice. ahh! for a dark, super spicy, fantasy romance... this one has a very unique plot that just sings to my soul!

I was worried bc people brought up warnings for triggers of SA but I'm so so glad I finished bc this was such a great book!

Darker Side of Love

If real love had a dark side, this read surely explains it in every steamy erotic and twisted detail!

Cool Story - Bad Reading Performance.

The story is interesting and the writing is great but I'm sorry, Auri's performance is difficult to enjoy when she's acting the male voice. She tried to make the voice low and serious, but for most of the book, it comes out as a whisper forcing the reader/listener to constantly adjust the volume to year what she's saying and then quickly turning it back down when she does the woman's voice as the woman's voice is a normal volume.

The drastic volume changes may not be the performer's fault but the audio engineer's. Either way, someone should have reviewed the performance/production before this was released.

Started slow

This story needed up being a good one but the beginning was very slow. I loved the that female protagonist was strong willed and not a whiny blubbering sissy.

just ok

This book was nothing short of a wattpad. It had little story With email character being Oppressive , but yet having hard feelings for her for no reason after knowing her for 2 seconds. If you were looking For a book of porn this is it. not my thing, I dnf'd it.

Good read but not for the faint of heart!

Great story. Excellent writer. To make anyone feel for this character is proof of another level of skill as a writer. Bravo. Great book. Roller coaster of emotions. And I am getting part two immediately.

I say 4.5. If the narrators had been better, it would have been a 5 across the board.

It’s very niche

I think for it’s going for, it’s an okay story. Very spicy, which is what I was looking for. I’m not into the spicy rape thing so it’s not for me. It’s a good story if that’s your thing.

Loved the story, hated the ending

I think you have to be a little bit depraved to love this story as much as I do, but if you are, you will too. I love fantasy books and this is my first romance and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved Enosh when he was being sweet, Ada could be a little frustrating and ungrateful sometimes. I wish there was more demonstration of the chemistry between them prior to the ending, and speaking of which, I really disliked the ending. I know there is a second book so maybe it will be resolved, but I just hated it and wished the author had gone a different route. Like others, I wished there were some more male chapters. Overall I really enjoyed most of it and would recommend it.
