About this listen

Twelve humans are left stranded on a wintry alien planet. I'm one of them. Yay, me. In order to survive, we have to take on a symbiont that wants to rewire our bodies to live in this brutal place. I like to call it a cootie. And my cootie's a jerk, because it also thinks I'm the mate to the biggest, surliest alien of the group.

Contains mature themes.

More Please

This is a series I kind of picked up when I wanted something light to read before I go to bed in the mids of my Anita Series.

I loved Liz’s attitude and how she handles herself. Her sarcasm is much needed.
Raahosh is the big blue alien who makes Liz get her “cootie” and then her cootie won’t shut up around him lol. It was a great second book I can’t wait to see what is going to happen with the rest of the Humans if they all find their mates. I love the humor mixed in. Really makes for a fun listen.

The narration is awesome I love it so much. Really makes you want to keep listening.
I wish more were in the RP.

Have an extra pair of panties

The book itself is great. The narrators were wonderful; definitely added to the book itself. BUT make sure you're prepared to listen to the dirtiness and the internal conflict we all have.

Wonderful

Loved loved it! Only complaint is that sometimes the females voice cuts off and it sounds weird. Started happening about half way through the book. Wasn’t bad cuz I could still hear everything, just alittle annoying

The Sequel

Well I enjoyed the first one the best because of the background. This one was ok, but the first book is always the best.

The story of Liz and Raahosh!

I immediately started listening to book 2 once I finished book 1 so I feel like my expectations were all over the place, I wasn’t sure which direction the story was going to go.
The narrators every so often changed accents and it kept throwing me off, but they did amazing at adding personality to the characters! Also the audio seems to get quieter and more muffled the longer the book goes on. Not annoying enough for me to stop though.
I liked Liz’s character a lot up until the end, she talks about having choices and being independent, but when it comes down to it she really isn’t :( I wish she would’ve shown more mental tenacity at the end.
Georgie and the rest of the girls also felt off from the first book, they had a stronger sense of sisterhood in the first book that I miss a lot.
I loved the cozy cave and the slow change of Liz’s attitude towards Raahosh, it was cute.
The only thing that really bothered me was Liz’s over use of slang when she’s annoyed lol but I guess that’s a character trait that some may love.
Overall the story of Raahosh and Liz is good, but I would say personally book 1 is better for me. Now time for book 3!
