I'm not a true follower of The Order of the Greater Beings. I don't worship the demiurgus—the monstrous species that live alongside humans. I definitely do not want to become a demiurgus mate.

So when one shows up at the cult's compound—the first in the entire twenty-five years I've been flying under the radar here—I want to make sure he knows that I think he's a total creep for taking advantage of worryingly adoring humans this way.

Until I realize… I don't think that's why he's here. He's kind of awkward. And anxious. And wildly out of his depth. This book was fantastic!! It's cute, funny, and heartwarming. Can't wait for the 2nd book.

Great story. Pretty darn adorable.

The story itself was kind of adorable. Definitely different but not in a bad way. Audio was okay. Not my favorite because each other had different accents for certain characters and they kind of gave off their own flow . But each did a good job in their own way.

So good and different!

I loved the older FMC and a sub MMC but also so wholesome! A nice refreshing read.

Cute couple

I love them, they’re both so affectionate. It’s nice to see couples older than “college-age” navigating new love together.

I absolutely adore this book! The humor, the story, the people, everything. It's so cute and Greed is the sweetest most awkward soft boi ever! The spice is also very well written and seems natural to the flow of the book. 12/10!

I absolutely love this book

I read the book previously so this was an instant buy for me when it came to Audible. I was a bit concerned about the male narrator's voice acting for Greid at first and then was like - yep this is perfect, this character is a stoner and very awkward so it fits perfectly. After that, I was all in on the narration.

This is a story of acceptance and understanding. It will definitely make you laugh and maybe even cry a little. It is sweet and for it being sci-fi/paranormal, it is very much based in the reality of daily life. This was my first book by Lily Mayne that I was willing to pick up because I'm not a big fan of dark romances which her other popular series is for sure. So if you are on the fence, know that this is low drama, M/F, with a solid HEA.

The second book in this series is already available on Kindle and I think it is just as good, if not better, than this one. It too will be on my immediate purchase list as soon as it hits Audible.

Great blend of sweet and spicy! Unique storyline, loveable characters, fun banter, and interesting spice.

The cinnamon rolliest himbo

Greid is possibly the sweetest cinnamon roll I have ever read in a book. And it made for the sweetest story. The whole thing was perfect and I could have listened to more of this couple. When I first heard the male narrator I was like no way this is what he’s doing. But within minutes I realized it was actually perfect. I loved every second. Can’t wait for the second audio book!

Love Greid!

I’m a huge Lily Mayne fan! I enjoyed the story but kind of skimmed through parts of it unfortunately. I can’t wait to read the next book with his brother.

the story it great.

the readers did a decent job it just seemed like the two artists were reading different books at times. I loved the story and most of the characters lol that brother of greens irritated me
but I still hands down loved their dynamic. I don't usually read where the male is a sub and the woman a Dom. it was very kinky I didn't hate it lol! 10/10
