Crafted and Performed Perfectly

As a narrator myself I keep a few role models. Jonathan Keeble is one of them. His invective, passion and instinctive grasp of the characters in this story - especially the protagonist Khayon - when coupled with Aaron's masterful storycrafting and insight into the characters and their very reasons to exist, will draw you in wholly and completely. I can't listen to anyone read this story aloud other than through Keeble's narration. To me, he *is* Iskandar Khayon, and that is the hallmark of an excellent performer.

Simply Awesome

All Warhammer fans will enjoy this story, fans of all series Hours Hersey 30k or 40k thus story truly rocks..

Loved it. Can't wait for the next in the series. Audible needs more Black Library books.

Chaos is Cool

What was one of the most memorable moments of Black Legion: Warhammer 40,000?

When they first come upon someone from the Imperium after a thousand years in the warp and realize that the Emperor is now worshiped as a God. They start laughing when they realize that the Word Bearers won after all.

What does Jonathan Keeble bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great book!

Just as the first installment in the tale of the black legion, this book really moved me, shaping the 40k universe with every minuit of listening. Great novel brought to flourishing life by Keeble's acting skill, fully recommended, but read the first one first, the talon of horus

Awesome story but....

Don't get me wrong it was a great book and story and Mr. Keeble with another great performance. The thing is I listened to this book right after the first one and although the proformance was superb, he voiced the same characters differently and also said there names completely different than he did in the first book. For me this was pretty distracting. it's like making a sequel to the first movie but completely recasting with new actors. But still well worth a listen and hopefully they do a third book.

Excellent way to set the story of the Black Legion in the modern setting

It’s good, ADB is strong in this book, doing what he does best. One of my favorite series.

You thought the first Black Legion book was good did ya? Well boy do I have a surprise for you, you ain’t seen nothing yet! The second is a even sweeter taste of what the amazing ADB can do and he flexes hard with this one really showing why he is a black library mainstay. Congrats to all involved!
