Once again-I love the narration, and story line.. Continually surprising with twists, and turns. Not predictable.

Loved the unpredictably, and surprises-so unexpected, it was awesome in the sense that surprises kept the narrative interesting.

Another great book in the series

I was hooked by the middle of the first chapter. This
was a great story with many twists and turns. I would have personally liked a bit more character development of the main group of detectives rather than just one or two but it did not affect the storyline Looking forward to the next installment.

Worth listening

I have enjoyed all of J M Dalgliesh’s detective series. This book was no exception. Keeps your interest from the very first chapter.

Great series!

Just finished all 14 books in this series and enjoyed them all. What a great narrator as well. I can only hope that they'll be more books coming in the future. Great story lines and characters. I highly recommend this series!

Very twisty and plenty of thorns and a very good ending

Didn’t like how Cassie got treated at ending but May next book will repair that

Great Author and Great Narrator!

J. M. Dalgliesh is an author I highly recommend! This is the fourteenth book I have listened to authored by J. M. Dalgliesh and read by Greg Patmore. All aspects are outstanding and my experience of re-listening to novels by Dangliesh, read by Patmore, is rewarding and enjoyable! Greg Patmore's voices for the individuals in the novels make them real and personal - - "individuals" that one can care about!

Interesting plot

Stories continue to focus on the mystery, while building the characters. Nice balance and this was an interesting plot line.
