Excellent introduction to this series.

A powerful novella that introduces us to the Reed family. This book explores the world of Jo Reed as she balances motherhood and an imploding marriage while dealing with a very serious killer. As a detective she struggles to handle everything to the best of her ability. There are strong elements of Christian faith as Jo navigates difficulties with infidelity and the harsh effect it has on those around her including herself.

Highly recommend! Only drawback was the narrator who was a bit monotone.
