Publisher's summary

Bronagh Murphy has been through a lot over the past few years, a hell of a lot, so when her 21st birthday rolls around all she wants to do is relax and spend the day with her family. Quietly.

Her boyfriend, Dominic Slater, doesn't do relaxed or quiet. He never has, and he never will. He plans out a day for Bronagh that is both romantic and exciting. However, Dominic's version of exciting is very different from Bronagh's, as she will soon find out.

When things take a turn for the worst and a bad altercation leaves Dominic once again fighting for his girl, Bronagh will have to decide once and for all if she will fight in Dominic's corner or walk away and never look back.

Bronagh loves Dominic, and what Bronagh loves, Bronagh protects.

A sweet short

This is a short for this couple and it is sweet. We get more of this hilarious couple. Bronagh learns some not so pleasant things about herself, and what she has to do for this relationship.

Good book and listen but also infuriating

I'm not a big Dominic fan in this one. He seems more like an ass to her on her birthday and at the end when they fight.

Disappointing

Love the first book in the series but this second one felt disappointing lacking a strong storyline without a true beginning of ending. Felt like it was a few not complete chapters .

Good but mixed feelings...

3-3.5 stars

So, I had mixed feelings about this addition to Dominic and Bronagh's story. It's Bronagh's 21st birthday and Dominic takes her to do things on her "special day". Some of the things he does/gives her are awesome and sweet but some of it seems like it's set up to purposefully cause her angst/embarrassment and I felt it wasn't the best way to give someone a "special day". Overall, it was an interesting addition but I some of the stuff left a bit of a sour taste...If the author was going to go where she did, I think it should have been a longer story to explore things more rather than leaving it off where it did.
