Not as good as kitty couture but a good book

I noticed a lot of similarities to the kitty couture series. The creator where so similar to Jack and lacy..was hoping for another book???? However I’m sure I’ll enjoy the rest of this series.

I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK. In my opinion, Julie Anne Lindsey can do no wrong. Like her other cozy series, I just want to crawl into the book and live in the world she created. To meet and befriend the characters. To hang out with Clyde and eat all the treats on the refreshment table at Bless Her Heart. I can’t wait for Seven Deadly Sequins because That Ending! I need answers!!

Please be advised that I received an advance readers copy for an honest review. In all seriousness, do yourself a favor and buy this book! It’s the perfect blend of cozy mystery with a side of supernatural and a dash of romance.

**Update**
I re-read the book by listening to the audiobook and it was just as wonderful the second time around. The audiobook narrator was fantastic and really brought the characters to life!

Wonderful kickoff to a new series

I fell in love with this book immediately. I am a huge fan of the author and had high hopes and expectations that were met and exceeding with this book. I can't wait to see how the relationship between Bonnie and Mason grows. I am anxious to get to know these characters and their little town of Bliss. Make sure to snag this book and all the other cozy mysteries from this wonderful author, you won't regret it!!

GREAT NEW SERIES

Not surprisingly, I loved this first in a new series by Julie Anne Lindsey. I love her cozy mysteries, and Bonnie and Clyde did not disappoint. Bonnie, her cat Clyde, and the hunky but somewhat mysterious detective, Mason, along with Bonnie's 2nd hand dress shop, Bless Her Heart, hold the promise for many more adventures, but not to be outdone are the promises for Liz and The Haunted Bookstore and the pie shop/bakery just waiting for a new owner. I cannot wait for Book 2!

Excellent read!

Welcome to Bliss! Bonnie Balfour has returned home to open a second hand shop in her hometown - both to give a second chance to the items & a second chance for herself after her divorce. Mason Wright is the out of town detective who has come to Bliss to re-find himself after being undercover too long. When Bonnie discovers a body of a well to do local who offered to donate items, she finds herself on the wrong side of Mason's suspect list. Of course, Bonnie starts investigating to clear her name.

I love this town with its central square, revitalization of the downtown area, the quirky characters, the off beat stores & Bonnie's ties to everyone. The author uses humor, a bit of sarcasm, some embarrassing moments, the small town setting & the power and love of family to create a wonderful story. Cannot wait for the next - Seven Deadly Sequins. And the narrator does a wonderful job of keeping that small town Southern feel.

I Absolutely loved this new series!! Perfect cozy for every all audiences. I love the dress shop
setting it's refreshing for a cozy series.
