love the plot and storytelling

I love the plots and narration but there are a lot of discrepancies on the story line about people being passed on and the later they aren't. May hears something then later on " hears it again" for the first time. Not big problem but kinda annoying while following along. a couple books back she remembers waking up in the living room and the house on fire. Now the whole story is about how someone carried her out of the house before it caught fire. All in all I love it.

Delightful but not unsophisticated. It's a solid storyline with good characters. There are helpful camping tips too! Highly recommend!

Short Sweet Easy Listen

Ok. I get these are mysteries and I have definitely enjoyed them so far. Sometimes the clues are uneven, unnecessary and don’t further the plot. The Whodunit is always either someone pulled in from the shadows at the last minute or someone that hasn’t been a focus. Kind of cheating, if you ask me. I don’t really mind because I love May and Hank’s story but dang! They need to move it along now. It’s getting kind of boring. All the stories follow the same formula. Mae is kind of like Lucille Ball in that she seeks forgiveness rather than asks permission. Hank, like Ricky, goes from steaming mad to reluctantly forgiving.
