The Power of Belief

This was the most refreshing and down to earth depiction of what it’s like to go through the entire cancer process. It’s practical, thorough, diligent, and relatable. Never once did this woman ever present herself as a “woe is me” kind of person. She took immediate action for herself, which I think too many people do not do. Many like to wait for their saviors to come to them, but life doesn’t work that way. When you want something, you HAVE to go after it yourself. Take initiative, get your hands dirty, and endure. This woman, Erika you sweet woman bless your soul, took the initiative for her OWN health and didn’t let anything stop her from getting to the place she visualized when it all started— a cancer free life. As Erika mentioned, there are so many things about going through the cancer process that the patients themselves have no idea is required for a full and genuine recovery. Erika does a wonderful job of depicting what her life was like outside of the cancer, which everyone needs to understand. When people get sick, it’s easy to obsess over the illness which creates blindness to every other facet of life.. when really, the illness is only a small part. Life still keeps happening, and it’s the life outside of the illness that provides the person with the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical tools they themselves will use to overcome their own illness.

Erika, thank you for sharing your story in such a selfless way, and your degree of humility throughout the whole thing. I’m proud of you for developing the philosophy you have for life, and actively applying that every day— even after being cancer free for all of these years. Congratulations, well done, and thank you 💜☁️

Even the edits left in in this audio, are a testament to how real and human all of this is. There’s so much nuance within life, nothing will ever be exactly the same for any 2 given people, but this offers a wonderful template on how to just be okay and be a human being. For me, it really shows what someone can do when they fully harness the power of the spaceman juice. Shout out to Michael for being a partner that we should all model ourselves after. Cheers, to never giving up, and living life whole heartedly 💜☁️
