Good book!

This was a quick yet good summer read. In her typical fashion, Melissa Foster shows the importance of family through her characters as well as their inner struggles that are realistic. The plot was fast moving and the chemistry between Trish and Boone was explosive. I thought the ending was quick and that there would have been more to it but I enjoyed the whole book from start to finish and would recommend this story to others. The narration from Mr. Harrison continues to be enjoyable as he brings life to Ms. Foster's stories. I feel that he his an enthusiastic reader that makes the story exciting and enjoyable.

Sweet and Swoony

Chased by Love is the third book in The Ryders series. It can be read as a standalone. I’ve been binge reading (& listening to) Melissa Foster books completely out of order with no problem. But I can say that after reading Claimed by Love I was really looking forward to Trisha’s story.

Trisha Ryder is an actress who is serious about working hard and advancing her career. When she is cast opposite rock star Boone Stryker, she is worried that his apparent lack of work ethic will affect her goals.

Boone has always been the protector to his friends and family. He feels responsible for the people (& kittens!) he loves. When he is being pulled in too many directions his work becomes a casualty.

I loved the audiobook of this sweet and swoony story and I can’t wait to listen to more!

Rocked by Love...

WOW!!! What can I say but another great combination of Melissa's writing and BJ's narration.

Trish is fighting with this new movie, hoping for a boost in her career with her performance. She's lost weight, to an unhealthy level...she's sacrificed to get this role and to be a part of, what she thinks is a ground breaking film. Then enters Boone...
She thinks he selfish and doesnt care about his role in the movie. What she doesnt realize is...it is all farce. He doesnt party like he's let his PR team promote...his family comes first and he sacrifices himself and his image for those he loves...and he thinks Trish is a diva!
Once Trish & Boone stop fighting what they think they know about each other, and are forced in close quarters, alone, they realize that they are more alike then they think...and with each other, they can get through anything.

My Thoughts on Chased by Love

Actress Trish Ryder met her match in musician Boone Stryker and it was such a sweet story.

One thing I've come to love and appreciate about Melissa Foster books is the true build up of the plot, the characters, and the whole world. Even when I've moved from one group of friends or family, or maybe the setting changes to a different town, there's always this great sense of connection. I feel connected to the leading characters, their romance, and often their families. You really get to know these people and this story was no different.

Trisha and Boone may have been brought together to play characters in a movie, but you quickly got to know them and what made them tick. And you watched their romance unfold slowly and could see the foundation it would be built on come to life. Plus you get to meet or revisit with their family members and see the love and loyalty there.

BJ Harrison is once again the narrator for this one. I really have no complaints about his voice and think he's a very good narrator. I would like to see a fresh voice in future for some of this author's books though as it has been the same for every one I've listened to so far.

Love, Loss, a Rockstar and an Actress

Wow! Melissa Foster wrote another amazing book that has so many layers. Love and Loss both have many emotions associated with their meanings. Trish and Boone had great chemistry in this book, yet Boone was hiding his true self behind the media bad boy image. I love it when a man is dedicated to family and friends, and wants to protect his pack. Trust, forgiveness, letting go, hope, redemption and healing are also part of this wonderful book. BJ Harrison was perfect in his narration for this book. He has such a smooth voice and he puts in the right emotions. This book is a standalone listen and part of a series. I really loved the book and can't praise it enough.

Book is about Trish Ryder an actress & Boone Stryker a rockstar. They are filming a movie together. The chemistry is very noticeable from the start. The movie is about a rising musician and his junkie girlfriend. Boone is having a hard time with a scene. It is bringing up memories from his past. The director sends them to the next location for 10 days to work on the scene. They fall in love in this 10 days. They are just so connected I forgot I was listening to a book. I have fallen in love withe Boone my new book boyfriend!!!! Thank Melissa Foster for another awesome book!!!!!!

Fantastic!

Trish Ryder was a strong willed actress that knew what she wanted. She was working on a movie called 'No Strings' with a famous rocker called Boone Stryker. He kept messing up his lines, so the director sent them both to Hurricane, WV to get the lines down or there would be no movie. Trish pushed all his buttons, but he pushed right back. The narrator had so much emotion in his voice, it made me think I was watching the story enfold.

The Actress and the Rock Star

Trish Ryder is an A-List actress; Boone Stryker is the bad boy Rock Star. When they are paired together for a film about a rock star getting his big break and his junkie girlfriend, Trish's first impression of Boone is that he's the typical bad boy rocker that the tabloids portray him to be. When he struggles with a difficult scene in the movie, the director suggests Trish and Boone spend 10 days together to help him hone in on his acting skills. As the days pass and they start to get to know one another, Trish realizes that you can't always believe what you read. As it turns out, Boone is devoted to his family and band mates, loyal and very protective of everyone he loves. What is printed about him, is a ploy to keep his family from being exposed. They final give in to the attraction that has been simmering between them. Trish finally gets Boone to talk about the scene that's been so difficult for him and learns about a tragedy from his past.

Their love story is about trust, forgiveness and letting someone be there for you in times of need. Boone and Trish's chemistry is all the charts! Love, love this book!

Great Read

Chased by Love by Melissa Foster was a great read. This is the third book in The Ryders Series. Trish Ryder is an actress who takes a job that could get her first award nomination. Unfortunately there is one person who could get in her way, her co-star Boone Stryker. I absolutely loved reading Trish and Boone's story. I can't wait to read more by Melissa Foster.

Red hot love story

How can you go wrong with a rock star hero and movie star heroine? Add in both characters are very family oriented and put others before themselves. And finally, you have a wedding, a proposal and two babies. I mean what more can you ask for?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I love seeing how bossy Trish is and how Boone just wants her to be happy. It will be interesting to see how they blend their careers, but if anyone can do it they can.

This was a tough story to tell in relation to the past and the emotions brought forth by the movie. The narration conveyed the anger, frustration and need to avoid the emotions. The accent on Cage was really good and brought back memories of New York.
