If nothing else, it was going to make Evelyn’s life more interesting, and she almost looked forward to it. If the rest of the cluster was sweating bullets at the reemergence of a notorious warlord, that was their problem, not hers.

Sci-Fi Fantasy At Its Best
Excellent start to a series from an author that never fails to deliver. If you have ever wanted a book that does a good job at melding magic and ftl together then look no further. Abby also does an amazing job at bringing the whole cast to life and love all the accents she gave the characters.
Will eagerly await the next installment and hope Podium and Abby continue bringing it to life.

Awesome start
I loved this book. Abby Craden did a fantastic job narrating this book. I loved this story and all the shenanigans that this crew gets up to. I can't wait for book 2 in this series.

Love it
I was very pleasantly surprised to find such a great series. the interaction between the characters is great, the relationship building is there, the narrator is awesome, and best of all the main character is badass without all the wining which you don't see in many female main characters. I highly recommend this series.

Great adventure!
I saw Abby Craden narrated this series and I bout the first book based solely on the narrator. I am glad I did it was a fantastic listen and I’m off to start book two. ;)

Fantastic
Look, if you haven't read any of this author's books yet, then what are you even doing with your life? lol. That said, I think this is my favorite yet, and Abby Craden was the perfect narrator for it. Love her work, and the voices were just amazing. The only downside is having to wait for the next book in the series.

A fun book...
A fun book where the MC already has the power. Fairly wholesome, even with the harem aspects, which is very light. Continuing the series to see what adventures they have next.

Oh holy crap, what an ending!!!
I'm weak! My cheeks hurt from trying to keep myself from dissolving into hysterics, since I'm at work. Oh man, hahaha.
phwew.
Anyway.
This story was just so enjoyable! Not really full of twists, turns, and suspense, but just wholly engaging. I love all of the characters, and I'm completely enamored with Evelyn!
So much looking forward to continuing this series!
