Publisher's summary

“…a lucid, sensible discussion of a mind-boggling subject.”– Kirkus Reviews Raymond Moody, Jr., M.D. PhD, changed the way we perceive death and dying with his seminal books, Life After Life and The Light Beyond. In this reissued classic, he does it again, investigating past lives with the new science of regression hypnosis. His goal: To discover if we can indeed recall “past lives” and what such memories tell us about the possibility that death is not the end.A confirmed skeptic with regard to reincarnation, Dr. Moody first became interested in the phenomenon when he encountered psychologically healthy patients who, under deep hypnosis, suddenly began describing in vivid detail episodes from other historical periods they could not possibly have known. His interest in the meaning of these visions intensified when he decided to undertake his own journey into the baffling and exhilarating realm of “past life” experiences. He himself underwent a deep hypnotic trance that revealed nine former lives, two during the Roman Empire and one as a Chinese woman artist who was brutally murdered.Uncertain what to make of these seemingly genuine past life experiences, Dr. Moody began a comprehensive two-year researcher project into the subject. Coming Back is the fascinating result of his findings. The Authors Raymond Moody, Jr., M.D., Ph.D., is a psychiatrist and noted author whose work Life After Life, created the field of near-death studies and gave name to that well-known phenomenon, the near-death experience. Paul Perry is a New York Times bestselling book author and documentary filmmaker whose work has appeared internationally. His work includes: Jesus in Egypt (book and film), Evidence of the Afterlife (coauthored with Jeffrey Long, M.D.), Afterlife (film). He is a Grand Cross Knight in the Portuguese Royal House.

Nice book, but poor AI performance

Book is good. Not everything I agree with the author about, but overall is interesting to hear what other people say about previous lives. A special thank you for the last chapter with the self hypnosis. Definitely will try.
The only complain I have is - the narrator. The AI voice narrating makes several mistakes and repeats some lines, hiccups or uses wrong intonation. So AI could’ve been better. Otherwise nice book to listed to if you are interested in the past life regression.

AI reader was awful

It was extremely difficult to thoroughly enjoy this book due to the AI reader. It reminded me of a CD that would skip. Pauses where there shouldn’t be pauses then a quick skip forward where it was hard to understand what the AI reader said.
