Be Confident and Communicative at the Same Time
What did you love best about Confident Communication Skills?
The valuable information to making yourself more confident were easy to do and the part on communication skills made me a better communicator. The best thing about these books is that they give you things you can do to make you better and they do just that
What did you like best about this story?
This is a non fiction book so there is no real story, but although I enjoyed both the confidence part of the book, I really enjoyed the communication part. I never thought of some of the things the book explains to do in order to become more communicative. I can see submissive and manipulative communication in others and know how to handle it and I can now watch myself to make sure I am communicating correctly.
What does Joshua Mackey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I did just read the book too, but I do a lot of driving and get audio books to help me stay alert. I think Mr. Mackey's voice helped to bring emphasis to some parts of the book. He brings life to the subject and makes it easier to understand.
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
I think the step by step goals in order to gain confidence is what I will remember most. I also will remember the suggestions on visualizations to make you a more confident person.
Any additional comments?
To be a good communicator, you need to have confidence, so it is so important to be confident in this world. This book gives you exercises, helps and tips that will help you be more confident. Then, it goes on to help you be able to communicate better by explaining different types of communication and how to do it and how to handle it. It is a great book for anyone wanting to come out of their shell and take on the world.

Gain confidence through communication
These book have done wonders for my confidence! I've always struggled with putting my thoughts and ideas out there for fear of falling short and not meeting expectations. I struggled mainly because I knew my ability to communicate was less than adequate. I wasn't able to convey my ideas because I couldn't communicate them in an easy-to-understand way for others. That is a problem no more thanks to this amazing box-set. Since listening to it (so convenient), I've begun to notice drastic changes in my confidence and communication. I feel as though others see me in a whole new light not that I can share my thoughts better. My favorite tip, and the one I've found most useful, is the confidence journal. Get this set today. You won't regret it.

Great for communicating confidently!
This is a great audio for improving your confidence and communication based on things that are pretty easy to master if you try. I found just changing a few things mentioned in these audios makes a big difference. There is tons of information, but one of my favorite new strategies has been mirroring. It works astonishingly well and has brought me great results in both personal and business life. In the confidence section a great tip that helped me was to take 30 minutes and make a list of my top twenty favorite accomplishments and things I've done in my life, then to be sure to read through it every day or so. Lot's more. The audio is also nicely narrated. Highly recommended.

Half Good Half Great
The first book regarding confidence was a lot of stating what someone seeking to build confidence likely already knows or heard. Take better care of yourself and you'll feel better and therefore, more confident. Basically that concept in relation to various areas of life. This isn't a particularly bad thing. It's always good to have another source of reaffirmation. And at 30 minutes at 2x speed, it's very timely.
The second hour on communication was great. Again, it's not particularly different compared to other communication skills books as far as content. But the presentation of this portion was very good, sensible, and again, very timely.

Communication begins with Confidence!
This audio book makes some great points about how building confidence can help improve your communication skills. The link between the two is not something that I had ever given any thought to before. I am now realizing that I may be quieter because I lack confidence in myself. This set opened my eyes and made me look at myself in a different way. It offered some great ideas and recommend other resources for support. I'm going to start taking action and start to get to know myself better! I think this was really helpful and would recommend others to give it a listen!

Communicate well, boost your confidence
These are good subjects to pair up. Many times people who lack confidence will tell you, no pun intended, that they aren't good speakers and don't do well in front of others, therefore, they are no confident in themselves or their skills. This is a good two in one set to help you not only boost communication skills but also use those new found skills to build up your confidence. It's easier to talk about the things you are skilled at, the things you love when you have the confidence and communication to do it well.
