Publisher's summary

Cast out from the treacherous Dark Fae Court, I resigned myself to a lifetime of captivity within the Ivory Tower.

But fate had other designs, as the Queen of the Frost Faeries broke me free from my shackles, revealing my destiny as the beloved of four royal princes and the wielder of elemental power beyond measure.

As I ascend to the throne as the supreme ruler of Rune, I find myself the target of malicious faeries, creatures born of my darkest fears, and the enigmatic King of the Spirit Realm. Will I and my princely consorts survive the trials that lie ahead, or will we succumb to the malevolent forces that seek to crush us?

Embark on an epic odyssey, where dark magic, enthralling romance, and mesmerizing fantasy collide in a breathtaking tale reminiscent of Court of Thorns and Roses, Lord of the Rings, and The Vampire Diaries. Join the legion of devotees following the New York Times bestselling author writing as Aurora Dawn in this steamy and spellbinding high fantasy.

The story

The story was good, but the narration was hard to follow. Without voice changes for characters and emotions I would lose the plot and have to rewind.

I hated the virtual voice narration

Just stop with the virtual voice narration. I could really tell it wasn’t a human doing the narration. Emotionless. Flat. The story was alright. I just couldn’t get past the narration. Listened at 1.2 speed just to finish.

Not a fan what so ever. It is difficult to get over the emotionless narration.

shocker ending!

A little fairy tale with an unexpected end. Narration is decent and characters make your heart squeeze.
